Bitcoin Whitepaper

Published in 2008, Bitcoin is here to stay as a peer-to-peer version of electronic cash which lets us skip the third party and lets us interact with each other directly. Bagofincome believes in the movement of decentralization and taking the power back from financial institutions to the people. Not only does Bitcoin allow us to store our own assets, but we can also easily send our assets to anyone across the whole world in less than 10 minutes, and we can do it anonymously.

Bitcoin is the invention of a pseudonymous computer programmer called Satoshi Nakamoto. In October of 2008, Satoshi published a white paper called “Bitcoin: A Peer-To-Peer Electronic Cash System,” outlining his proposal and the mechanics of what we now know as Bitcoin’s “blockchain.”  The Bitcoin network has run continuously since its launch on January 3, 2009. The network currently secures over $600 billion in value and its native cryptocurrency.
